"Remington Steele" on DVD

My hubby got me season two of "Remington Steele" on DVD for Christmas! So far we've just watched a couple of eps, but I'm really enjoying them. They hold up well. This is my second all-time favorite TV show (XF being my all-time fave, of course!) so it's nice to have.
We started with season two because my hubby disliked the co-stars of season one. This is the season where Mildred (played by the actress who was later Marie on "Everybody Loves Raymond") joins the cast.
BTW, does anybody remember exactly where it was Remington and Laura lived and worked? It was someplace in California and I'd thought it was supposed to be Los Angeles, but something in one of the eps we watched recently made me think maybe it's San Diego instead.
