You've made my day Islandgirl. That's really good news to hear that Remmington is on DVD. I will watch out for it here. There are so many that I want to get. I'm dying to snap up McGyver. I got Stargate S8 for Christmas this yr. I only have S4 and S8 of that. I want the whole set. I have not seen many shows as the station has always been erratic with the scheduling of Stargate over the years. I also want Buck Rogers in the 25th century. I'd also like Lost in space. My daughter got Bewitched S2 for Christmas. She already has S1. And she owns Wonderwoman S1and 2. We are waiting for S3 to come out. It is so good that all these great old shows are coming out on DVD. I find that we have quite a few now and of a night the family actually sits down together and watches a couple of eps. There is so much crap on TV now. Stuff that we all can't watch and enjoy together. These old shows are good, clean, family entertainment. I took Bewitched to school to show my class on the last day of term. Noone laughed except 3 kids. I couldn't believe they weren't enjoying it. But when it finished they all yelled "That was MAD!!" They loved it. They just aren't demonstrative. They begged me to show them the rest of the eps on that disc. They had a choice of other movies like the INcredibles, Sponge Bob etc and they wanted Bewitched. One girl's mother came early to pick her up and she refused to go. She had to stay for Bewitched. Poor deprived children have never seen anything decent before.

My daughter is excited to discover that I Dream of Jeannie is also coming out. I guess I will have to get it for her. My kids are so enthralled by all these old shows I have to put severe restrictions on the TV as they would be there ALL day. They have always liked Tv but were not addicted like they are now to these shows. I have an old tape of some eps of the Flying Nun and Ghost and Mrs Muir that I taped off when we had Pay tV. It would be good if these shows came out on DVD too. The one I am hoping for is Policewoman. That will really make my day. I hope they don't wait till Angie and Earl are dead before they do it.

Thanks again IG for the Remmington alert :-)
