I'm surprised no one mentioned the new male version of Kim, Jack's new girlfriend's son. Why do either he or his mom have to be involved at all except to complicate things for Jack. If Jack is knocking a guy out & stealing a helicopter, he's not coming back & has no need to kidnap the brat.

When Jack last talked to Palmer at the end of last season, he had said this would be his last message to anyone in his old life. But Chloe has his current number? Just in case...eh? Knowing this would probably lead to all kinds of crazy stuff, he really should have cut what little ties he had made in the last year and a half.

Chloe having a fling was a hoot. Once again, she goes rogue & is then back at work 10 minutes later. I guess Haysbert was tried of the show & wanted to move on. If Palmer had a big revelation, why be at home writing a book? Too bad about Michelle, Tony will be out for blood later.

President Loser still sucks, his First Lady is better than him even when crazy. Looks like one plot will lead to another just like last year. The LOTR district guy might turn out OK but one doubts it. Another inter-office battle in the works, sigh! Guess that why 9/11 happened, too much CTU in fighting & Jack was missing or tried up in his personal life instead of torturing suspects like he should be.
