Atlantis Jack is intelligent but his intelligence seems to be geared more to military stuff. He seems to be somewhat thoughtful and intuitive which is good. Sometimes these leading characters just react to situations rather than carry out a plan--adjusting as they go. Jack is the strong, more silent type I think and of course I like that sort of male character

Stargate Daniel's intelligence, on the other hand, seemed to be more academic in nature. His Atlantis counterpart (if that's what he can be called) is different--more like a character from the Star Trek shows. I like this Daniel's character better.

As for Tealk (sp?), that character's Atlantis counterpart is a woman and I think that actress does a good job.

Then there is of course Jack/Daniels which is quite enjoyable at times. ;-)
