I don't watch "Alias" on a regular basis but, quite frankly, I'm kinda/sorta surprised that ABC is bringing back this series at all.
Judging by all the special effects I see in the promos for it, it must be an expensive series to produce and, as the article points out, it's never really been a ratings powerhorse. Now that ABC has two top ten dramas in "DH" and "Lost," I wouldn't think they'd even bother with it. They could do comedies or a reality show for a lot less $$$ and probably get the same sort of viewership the had for "Alias".
