because I like to compare the three different CSI shows. I like to see just what sort of twists and turns the shows can take. I also like all 3 of them just because of the scenery and try to catch things that may be found just in that setting. Alligators in Miami for example. It's fun to try to figure out how the case will be solved.

As for Las Vegas, I've been there twice. Wouldn't live there. What we did see when we were there were the typical things on the Strip. What we didn't see were the "shadier" parts of town where I suspect there are more crimes committed. Every town has it's share of dumpsters and dark alleys as well as seedy hotels/motels. Also, every town or city has it's own reputation or sort of inhabitant which I think the different CSI shows try to include. Vegas has a night life which includes partially dressed showgirls in addition to Cirque deSoleil, magicians and tigers and other sorts of shows. New York is its own unique self which I would love to see some day. Miami has a cultural diversity in addition to being a tourist town--been there too and wouldn't want to retire there either.

The line from Agua Mala (sp?) "all the nuts roll down to Florida" seems to fit here, in that every city or part of the country has it's own unique environment, inhabitants and culture. I get the impression that the writers are trying to write stories that include the impressions that one can get from being in a certain place at a certain time.
