TV theme songs

Do TV shows even *have* theme songs any more? I mean songs with lyrics. writtten specifically for that show, that actually give you a hint as to what the show is about?
It used to be virtually every sitcom (i.e. "The Brady Bunch", "Welcome Back, Kotter", etc.) and a fair number of dramas ("Moonlighting" and "The Greatest American Hero" both spring to mind) had their own theme songs. Now it seems that every show just begins with instrumental music or, in the case of the CSI franchise, wtih songs that kinda/sorta fit the mood of the show, but were written well before the show debuted.
