Speaking of CSI, did everyone catch the one the week before last where Grissom had to make a speech about that supervisor he doesn't like and he couldn't tie his bowtie? Catherine tied it for him. Then he had to bail on the speech and left it to Catherine. I think Islandgirl is right when she said they act like an old married couple. And then that woman from the day shift joins the case. Did Catherine seem just a tad jealous to anyone?

One thing about CSI which I think accounts for the types of crimes is that the unit we see is the night shift unit. I forget that sometimes but this episode pointed that out. So I don't think all the seedy stuff in Vegas is that out of the ordinary. They do get a bit repetitious with too many under 18 killers lately but it still usually keeps me guessing and I enjoy watching them sort out the scientific process.

I think the settings of these shows guides the storylines. Not to say Vegas is nothing but seedy lowlifes. Perhaps I should say that it's more the the public's perceptions of these cities. I had a school aged friend who lived there for a few years when her dad owned a restuarant--she didn't like it much. And an aunt and uncle who lived there for awhile--they did like it. As far as I know none of them got into too many shenanigans with sex crazed killers and whatnot.
Perhaps if they take David Letterman's suggestion and do "CSI: Muncie" it will have more ordinary cases.;)

I missed last week's ep somehow. My Tivo claims that I deleted it but I think it did it itself! Looks like an episode similar to The X-Files Gender Bender one. I'll catch the rerun.
