Subject: Arrested Development from 12/12 and some questions

I watched Arrested Development this Sunday and found it...interesting. This is actually the second episode I've watched. I watched the season premiere but was kind of distracted as I was at my parents' house and all kinds of stuff was going on.

Now, how are all these people related to each other? I get that Jeffrey Tambor in the attic is Jason Bateman's father and I know who Jason Bateman's mother is. Why is his dad hiding in the attic? Some sort of business scandel, from what I can gather, where they want Jason to turn him in. Now, this guy who wants to be in the Blue Man Group and whose photograph caused all the hijinks on Sunday, who is he and how is he related to the family. And is George Michael Jason Bateman's little brother or his son? I couldn't figure that out. And is Jeffrey Tambor's character playing himself in a wig when he's downstairs, or is he actually a different character, like a twin brother or something?

I am very confused.
