I finally watched the episode last night.
Okay here's the rundown:

The Bluth family:
Parents are George(Jeffrey Tambour) and Lucille (Jessica Walter)

They have four children:
GOB-usually pronounced th same way as JOB from the bible but sometimes people mistakenly call him GOB (with a hard G)
His first name is George. I *think* his middle name is Oscar. So GOB is George Oscar(?) Bluth

Michael (Jason Bateman)
Lindsey (the daughter)
They are twins

And the youngest, Buster.

Buster is the one who's doing the army training.
GOB is the one who was 'motivating' him. Most of the time we see GOB working as a magician.

Other members:

George Michael--Michael's teenage son

Tobia-a former psychologist who wants to be an actor and is currently trying to get in the BLUE MAN GROUP, is married to Lindsey. (The guy who casued all the hijinks with the photo). He is a "Never nude" Never likes to be naked so he always wears those cutoff jeans.

Maybe--She is Tobias and Lindsey's teenage daughter. So she and George Michael are cousins. GM has a creush o her which is just wrong! No ne else knows about it.

Ann--Geroge Michael's current girlfriend who everyone else finds forgettable.

Oscar Bluth--Goerge Bluth Sr.'s twin brother. The one you saw with the bad wig. In this episode part of the time you did see OScar and partly George was disguised as Oscar ecasue he wanted to find ou find out is his wife really loved Oscar. They are having an affair) I can see why you were confused!

The first season George Sr. spent the year in jail for some business scandal--I forget the details now but I think it all involves the building homes in Iraq thing. He escaped from jail at the end of last season and was hiding in Mexico. Currently he's hiding in the attic wearing Michael's dead wife's clothes. (And did he look funny!) No mysterious circumstances to her death like in Desparate Housewives though.

Henry Winkler plays the family's attorney
and Ron Howard (Opie) is the narrator.

Well I hope that makes some sense. lol The opening credits of every episode identifies the major players as well to remdind everyone.
Many other strange characters come and go. liza Minelli was on last year as another woman named Lucille who was dating Buster. Do you think you'll watch again? It just cracks me up. I especially loved George Michael saying he might have failed his eye exam. :-)
