newsgroups, just like you are now, and came across an article similar to this that said you
could make thousands of dollars within weeks with only an initial investment of $6.00 plus
stamps! So I thought, "Yeah, right, this must be a scam!" But like most of us I was curious
and kept reading. It said that if you send $1.00 to each of the 6 names and addresses listed
in the article, you could make thousands in a very short period of time! You then place your
own name and address at the bottom of the list at #6, and post the article to at least 200
newsgroups. (There are about 32,000 of them out there and that's quite a large market pool).
No catch, that was it. Even though the investment was a measly $6, I had three questions
that needed to be answered before I could get involved in this sort of thing.
1. IS THIS REALLY LEGAL?? I called a lawyer first. The lawyer was a little skeptical that I
would actually make any money but he said it WAS LEGAL if I wanted to try it. I told him it
sounded a lot like a chain letter but the details of the system (SEE BELOW) actually made it
a legitimate legal bOR IS IT MAIL FRAUD?.... I called them: 1-800-725-2161 and they
confirmed THIS IS ABSOLUTELY LEGAL! (See Title18, h sections1302 NS 1341 of Postal Lottery
Laws). This clarifies the program of business.
2. IS IT OK WITH THE POST OFFICE collecting names and addresses for a mailing list. Well of
course
3. IS IT MORAL? Well, everyone who sends me a buck has a good chance of getting A LOT of
money ... a much better chance than buying a lottery ticket!!! So, having these questions
answered, I invested EXACTLY $8.04 ... six $1.00 bills and six 34 cent postage stamps ...
and boy am I glad I did!!! Within 7 days, I started getting money in the mail! I was
shocked! I figured it would end soon and didn't give it another thought. But the money
continued coming in. In my first week I made between $20 to $30. By the end of the second
week I had a made a total of $1,000.00. In the third week I had over $10,000.00 and it was
still growing. This is now my fourth week and I have made a total of just over $42,000 and
it's still coming in ..... It's certainly worth $6.00 and 6 stamps!!! Also, make sure you
print a copy of this article NOW, so you can get the information off of it as you need it. I
promise you that if you follow the directions exactly, that you will start making more money
than you thought possible by doing something so easy! Suggestion: Read this entire message

was a little skeptical and a little worried about the legal aspects of it all. So I checked
it out with the U.S. Post Office (1-800-725-2161) and they confirmed that it is indeed
legal! Mail the 6 envelopes to the following addresses:

Note:
MAILING THE MONEY IS A VERY CRITICAL STEP IN THIS WHOLE PROCESS. IF PEOPLE DID NOT MAIL THE
MONEY, THIS WHOLE THING WOULD NOT WORK. $6 IS NOT WORTH MESSING THIS SYSTEM UP, AND IT ONLY
TAKES ABOUT 10 MINUTES OF YOUR TIME. DO THIS AND YOU WILL BE REWARDED. I AM LIVING PROOF!!
STEP 2: Now take the #1 name off the list that you see above, move the other names up (6
becomes 5, 5 becomes 4, etc...) and add YOUR Name as number 6 on the list.
STEP 3: Change anything you need to, but try to keep this article as close to original as
possible.
STEP 4: Now, post your amended article to at least 200 newsgroups. (I think there are close
to 32,000 groups) All you need is 200, but remember, the more you post, the more money you
make! This is perfectly legal! Keep a copy of these steps for yourself and, whenever you
need money, you can use it again, and again. PLEASE REMEMBER that this program remains
successful because of the honesty and integrity of the participants and by their carefully
adhering to every step in the directions. Look at it this way. If you are a person of
integrity, the program will continue and the money that so many others have received will
come your way.
NOTE:
You may want to retain every name and address sent to you, either on a computer or hard copy
and keep the notes people send you. This VERIFIES that you are truly providing a service.
(Also, it might be a good idea to wrap the $1 bill in dark paper to reduce the risk of mail
theft.) So, as each post is downloaded and the directions carefully followed, six members
will be reimbursed for their participation as a List Developer with one dollar each. Your
name will move up the list geometrically so that when your name reaches the #1 position you
will be receiving thousands of dollars in CASH!!! What an opportunity for only $6.00 ($1.00
for each of the first six people listed above) Send it now, add your own name to the list
and you're in business!
HOW TO POST TO NEWSGROUPS --- DIRECTIONS ---
Step 1) You do not need to re-type this entire letter to do your own posting. Simply put
your cursor at the beginning of this letter and drag your cursor to the bottom of this
document, and select 'copy' from the edit menu. This will copy the entire letter into the
computer's memory.
Step 2) Open a blank 'notepad' file and place your cursor at the top of the blank page. From
the 'edit' menu select 'paste'. This will paste a copy of the letter into notepad so that
you can add your name to the list.
Step 3) Save your new notepad file as a .txt file. If you want to do your postings in
different settings, you'll always have this file to go back to.
Step 4) Use Netscape or Internet explorer and try searching for various newsgroups (on-line
forums, message boards, chat sites, discussions.)
Step 5) Visit these message boards and post this article as a new message by highlighting
the text of this letter and selecting paste from the edit menu. Fill in the Subject, this
will be the header that everyone sees as they scroll through the list of postings in a
particular group, click the post message button. You're done with your first one!
Congratulations...THAT'S IT! All you have to do is jump to different newsgroups and post
away, after you get the hang of it, it will take about 30 seconds for each newsgroup!
**REMEMBER, THE MORE NEWSGROUPS YOU POST IN, THE MORE MONEY YOU WILL MAKE!! BUT YOU HAVE TO
POST A MINIMUM OF 200** That's it! You will begin receiving money from around the world
within days! You may eventually want to rent a P.O. Box due to the large amount of mail you
will receive. If you wish to stay anonymous, you can invent a name to use, as long as the
postman will deliver it. **JUST MAKE SURE ALL THE ADDRESSES ARE CORRECT** Now the WHY part:
Out of 200 postings, say I receive only 5 replies (a very low example). So then I made $5.00
with my name at #6 on the letter. Now, each of the 5 persons who just sent me $1.00 make the
MINIMUM 200 postings, each with my name at #5 and only 5 persons respond to each of the
original 5, that is another $25.00 for me, now those 25 each make 200 MINIMUM posts with my
name at #4 and only 5 replies each, I will bring in an additional $125.00! Now, those 125
persons turn around and post the MINIMUM 200 with my name at #3 and only receive 5 replies
each, I will make an additional $626.00! OK, now here is the fun part, each of those 625
persons post a MINIMUM 200 letters with my name at #2 and they each only receive 5 replies,
that just made me $3,125.00!!! Those 3,125 persons will all deliver this message to 200
newsgroups with my name at #1 and if still 5 persons per 200 newsgroups react I will receive
$15,625,00! With an original investment of only $6.00! AMAZING! When your name is no longer
on the list, you just take the latest posting in the newsgroups, and send out another $6.00
to names on the list, putting your name at number 6 again. And start posting again. The
thing to remember is: do you realize that thousands of people all over the world are joining
the internet and reading these articles everyday? JUST LIKE YOU are now!! So, can you afford
$6.00 and see if it really works?? I think so... People have said, "what if the plan is
played out and no one sends you the money? So what! What are the chances of that happening
when there are tons of new honest users and new honest people who are joining the internet
and newsgroups everyday and are willing to give it a try? Estimates are at 20,000 to 50,000
new users, every day, with thousands of those joining the actual internet. Remember, play
FAIRLY and HONESTLY and this will really work. ] ** By the way, if you try to deceive people
by posting the messages with your name in the list and not sending the money to the rest of
the people already on the list, you will NOT get as much. Someone I talked to knew someone
who did that and he only made about $150.00, and that's after seven or eight weeks! Then he
sent the 6 $1.00 bills, people added him to their lists, and in 4-5 weeks he had over $10k.
This is the fairest and most honest way I have ever seen to share the wealth of the world
without costing anything but our time!!! You also may want to buy mailing and e-mail lists
for future dollars. Make sure you print this article out RIGHT NOW! Also, try to keep a list
of everyone that sends you money and always keep an eye on the newsgroups to make sure
everyone is playing fairly. Remember, HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY. You don't need to cheat
the basic idea to make the money!! GOOD LUCK to all and please play fairly and reap the huge
rewards from this, which is tons of extra CASH. Please remember to declare your extra

So, build your mailing list, keep good accounts, declare the income and pay your taxes. By
doing this you prove your business intentions. Keep an eye on the newsgroups and when the
cash has stopped coming (that means your name is no longer on the list), you just take the
latest posting at the newsgroups, send another $6.00 to the names stated on the list, make
your corrections (put your name at #6) and start posting again.
NOTES:
* 1. In some countries, the export of the country's exchange is illegal. But you can get the
license to do this from the post office, explaining the above statements (that you have an
online business, etc. You may have to pay an extra tax, but that's OK, the amount of the
incoming money is HUGE! And as I said, a few countries have that restriction.
*2. You may want to buy mailing and e-mail lists for future dollars. (Or Database or
Spreadsheet software.)
*3. If you're really not sure or still think this can't be for real, please print a copy of
this article and pass it along to someone who really needs the money, and see what happens.
*4. You will start getting responses within 1-2 weeks, it depends.

JAGFanFest 2004 has come to a close. We'd like to thank everyone at Belisarius Productions, the casts and crews of JAG and NCIS, and most importantly, the fans who were so generous to our charities.
We are beyond pleased to announce that JAGFanFest 2004 has raised a total of $40,033.00 through raffles, our live and silent auctions and generous donations to Operation Interdependence.
And we're not finished yet!
For those who were unable to attend or for those who did and want to remember, we will be offering items that will increase our totals. Among these items is an Auction VCD, Photo CD and other special JAGFanFest 2004 mementos. As soon as these items become available, we'll let you know.
Again, we'd like to express our gratitude to everyone involved in making JAGFanFest 2004 an extraordinary success!

JAGFanFest has raised over $50,000 for charity since 2001 thanks to the generosity of JAG fans. The majority of that has come from participation in the annual Charity Auction held on Saturday evening. The Charity Auction has been a highlight of the JAGFanFest and will promise to be a highlight this year as well.
A partial list of items that will be auctioned off (either in the live or silent auction) can now be previewed at the JAGFanFest website:

As usual, Belisarius Productions has really come through with some great items from the set of JAG. You can literally bid the shirt off AJ's back! Or you can read the fortune Harm read using the very same basket and fortune cookies from JAG's special 200th episode, "What If?" Ever wanted to relax in an NCIS bathrobe or wear the shirt Mac was wearing when she shot Sadiq? Now you can! And, wouldn't a picture of your sweetie look even better in the special JAG 200th episode picture frame that was presented to the cast and crew this past year! Various autographed scripts and, of course, a visit to the set of JAG and NCIS will also be up for bid! We also have some great gifts donated by various JAG fans and fan club groups.

We are pleased to announce that Paul Brinkman, JAG location manager, has agreed to attend this year's Fest. Many of you may remember him from last year's Friday night presentation.
We are also honored to have Mike Hire, Lt. Col., USMC Ret.) from the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society Camp Pendleton office. He will spend the weekend with us and speak to everyone on Friday evening.

I want the real like actor PL to hire a fitness trainer, go on a diet, (let's admit, he's a husky guy), and become buff!
There is another JAGathon, and this time, Sturgis crosses the finish line first, then in a tight group just maybe a minute later, AJ, Harm, Mac, Tiner and BUD come across the finish line! Sturgis can't keep the pride and admiration off his face! AJ, Harm, Mac, Tiner all gang around Bud with a rowdy cheering session! Harriet comes bursting through and her and Bud throw themselves in each other's arms!!! Bud and everyone else realize that despite his injury, Bud can be a fully functional Naval JAG officer. Then when the medical board meets to see if Bud can stay in the Navy, they just refer back to the JAGathon.
I have a feeling that AJ will fight with all his two star might to keep Bud in. He will feel responsible for what happened by sending Bud to the Seahawk and then to make it up to Bud will throw all his two star weight to keep Bud in the Navy.
Kip, are you hearing me??? LOL!

REGISTER FOR SUNDAY ACTIVITY:
If you have already registered for the JAGFanFest, then please let us
know which Sunday activity you plan to attend (or let us know that
you won't be attending one) by July 31st!
As a reminder, the choices are: 1) pool party/BBQ, or 2) trip to
Reagan library, or 3) will not be attending either activity.
Send an e-mail to registrations@jagfanfest.org to let us know which
option you want to attend.
NOMINATIONS FOR THE CHAZ AWARDS:
2004 Chaz Awards of Excellence-Don't forget to send in those

FanFest Friends,
We are pleased to announce Sunday's schedule! For those of you who will be staying with us on Sunday, we have two exciting options for you to take advantage of at this year's JAGFanFest!
To help you recover from a hard night of bidding at our charity auction Saturday, we have two Sunday activities planned. You may choose either option!
Option 1: Pool Party!! The Airtel has completely revamped their pool area this year and expanded it to include a BBQ area. We have reserved this area for a private pool party, and complimentary BBQ lunch just for JAGFanFest attendees who choose this option! Please join us for an afternoon of fun in the sun, free food, relaxation, perhaps a game or two, a few surprises and, while you are at it---show off those auction and raffle items you won and interact one more time with your JAG friends.
Option 2: Road trip!! For those of you who want to get out for the day and see a little bit of recent history, we will have a group going by bus to the Reagan Library. There will be no charge for the bus, however the Reagan Library does have an admission fee of $7 for adults and $5 for seniors that you would personally be responsible for paying. They also have a cafeteria if you wish to get a snack while you are there. When you return, feel free to stop by the pool as the party winds down and tell us about your visit!
Because we do have two options, we must ask you to please sign up for one or the other activity you wish to attend. We need to have numbers to work with to help us plan for both events. If you won't be able to attend either event, please let us know that as well.
If you are already registered for the JAGFanFest, then please send an e-mail to registrations@jagfanfest.org and include your name, your e-mail address and which event you would like to attend (Reagan Library or Pool Party/BBQ or "Thanks, but I won't be able to attend a Sunday event").
Please let us know by July 31, 2004.
For those of you that have not registered yet, mail in registration ends August 1, 2004 and PayPal registration ends August 24, 2004. Please indicate your choice for the Sunday activity when you submit your registration.
We are very excited that we have these two Sunday options for you to choose from! While we anticipate having enough acceptances for each option, in the event that the registration is too low for either event, we reserve the right to cancel that event.

Last year the JAGFanFest invited JAG fans to participate in a special opportunity to help out our men and women in the Armed Forces. This year, we are again proud to announce that we will partner with Operation Interdependence to show that JAGFans Care!
Operation Interdependence is a volunteer organization which sends care packages and letters from home (called C-Rats) to our men and women serving overseas. These packages help boost the morale of those serving and show them in some small way that Americans appreciate their sacrifice.
Both those attending the JAGFanFest and those who are not able to attend can participate in this great opportunity. Monetary donations can be made by those not attending. Care package items are needed from those who can attend. If you cannot afford a donation, but want to participate, letters from "home" are among the most-requested items. Letters can be emailed to our email address at charities@jagfanfest.org and we'll print them out and include an envelope for you.

It is hard to believe, but there is just over a week to purchase
JAGFanFest registration tickets at the $75.00 rate. To receive this
rate, please visit our website to purchase via PayPal OR, make sure
your registration is postmarked June 30, 2004.
As of July 1st, registration will be $85.00, and will be open until
August 1 (postmark) or August 24 (PayPal) or only as long as tickets
are available. Should we sell out, a waiting list will be available,
but that is not a guarantee that a space will open up.
Also, don't forget to send your JAG Memories (more info available on
web site) to jagmemories@jagfanfest.org -- you do not have to attend
JAGFanFest to participate!

We have some great news! Harrison Page (RADM Morris) will appear with author Norm Harris at the JAGFanFest Writer's Seminar (time and further details will be announced).
In addition, Harrison has also graciously accepted our invitation to be an auctioneer at this year's charity auction! Those of you who attended JAGFanFest 2001 will remember his wit and charm as he helped the bidding along that year.
Since JAGFanFest is "For the Fans, By the Fans", we would like to give all of you in the JAG community a chance to be a part of our 2004 Program Book. We'd like you to submit your "Favorite JAG Memory", whether it is a scene from the show, a funny moment on a message board or mailing list, or an occurrence at one of the AGFanFests. All you have to do is send an email to:

Wow! We have been notified that the block of rooms we reserved for the JAGFanFest have been booked! The Airtel Plaza will continue to honor the JAGFanFest rate as long as they have space available until September 1. The Airtel is very busy in September, so if you haven't booked your room yet please do ASAP to guarantee getting the JAGFanFest rate. Your credit card will NOT be charged until you arrive at the hotel. You can cancel your reservation up to one week prior to the JAGFanFest without penalty.
Registration sales continue to be brisk and we are over half way to reaching our capacity. June is the last month of our $75 rate, so get those registrations sent in!
Due to the increased interest in the JAGFanFest we are expanding! In addition to the booths and activities in the Concorde Ballroom, we will also have booth and activities in the Lindbergh Room both Friday and Saturday for your enjoyment! We will also be in the Lindbergh Room Thursday night for our early bird get together. More details as they become available!

Hats off to Mae Whitman (Mac's "little sister" Chloe Madison), and John DeMita (Col. Blakely, the Marine judge) who have accepted our invitation to participate in this year's JAGFanFest!!!!

JAG Fans were out in force today to celebrate Don's momentous
occasion. We saw many friends from the Fest and made many new
ones. We arrived early but weren't the first ones as 2 people had
been there since 7am! Joining the group along the fence we chatted
with fans from around the world.
As the time neared, the stars started trickling in: The entire cast
of JAG (including Randy Vasquez, W.K. Stratton and Dana Sparks) and
NCIS was there, Jack Scalia from Tequila and Bonnetti, Scott Bakula
(who spoke eloquently on Don's behalf) from Quantum Leap, Larry
Mannetti from Magnum PI and James Karen from First Monday. (Forgive
us the spelling and if we forget anyone)
The ceremony began with an introduction from the honorary mayor,
Johnny Grant. Then Garry Hart, president of Paramount television
productions, spoke of DPB in glowing terms and told a funny story
about how on Tequila and Bonnetti Don had to hire a language
translator for the dog! Scott Bakula followed and had very nice
things to say about Don. The mayor then proclaimed it Donald P.
Bellisario day in Hollywood and presented Don with the certificate.
DPB spoke briefly as he tried to thank all that had come today and
all that had been with him throughout the years. He even had a
special treat as his oldest friend from Pennsylvania was there to
share in his achievement. The star was then unveiled in true
Hollywood fashion and the flashbulbs were flashing from fan and star
alike.
It was a wonderful day and I know all were honored to be there to
share it with Don.
Thank you all so much for the messages that have been pouring in for
the memory book. Keep them coming!! We will have pictures posted
of this event at our site, http://www.jagfanfest.org by no later
than Thursday.

JAG's 200th celebration!!

JAG fans attend the party!!
On Monday, several members of the JAGFanFest Planning Committee were invited to attend the cake cutting ceremony to commemorate the 200th episode of JAG. Harriet has asked us to report on our experience so that all JAG fans can take pride in this wonderful accomplishment. It was an exciting adventure and we want to share it with you.
The brief ceremony began (during a break in filming) with Don recounting many of JAG’s experiences over the last 9 seasons. He spoke of the unbelievable journey that JAG has taken and the many more journeys to come. David, Catherine and Patrick also spoke briefly and thanked Don for a great nine years. (David even mentioned the ‘next’ 200 episodes) :o) Then there was a beautiful cake and the numerous “cake-cutting” photo ops! Don was then presented with champagne and the memory book which included your well wishes. He was very touched by the gesture. There is still time to include your note to Don by visiting our site and clicking on his star!
Following the ceremony, we had the good fortune to speak with most of the cast and many of the writers and Don himself. We are greatly encouraged by the cast’s interest in the JAGFanFest and we’re hopeful that we will be able to announce some more confirmations soon! It was soon time to go as the cast had to get back to filming of the historic 200th episode!
As Harriet promised last week, we will soon be posting some of the hundreds of pictures we took during the event. Look for them at http://www.jagfanfest.org over the next week or two. Also keep an eye on ET, as they were in attendance, but we don’t know when the footage might air. Perhaps Harriet can give us a heads up when that is going to happen.
Today DPB will be honored by having his star unveiled on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. We’re hoping for pleasant weather and will also post pictures and report on this momentous occasion. We are all so proud of our JAG team and the many wonderful memories they have given us.
Thanks JAG for a great nine years!!
And most of all, thank you Harriet for making it possible to for JAG fans everywhere to participate in this event.

Wow, have I been remiss in my thinking about Bud, so thought it's time to take a moment to think about Bud in season 9. Has his role been less this season?
IMHO, it has been good to see him flexing his computer expertise in "Crash," and it was really good to see him enjoying Varese's songstylings with Sturgis in "Persian Gulf." I like them being a bit buddy-buddy.
Things I wonder:
I wonder if he and Harriet have had that little talk about naming the baby James Kirk Roberts?
Will Harriett get pregnant again? It does seem Bud is the only real stud on JAG. LOL!
Will Bud get to defend a really juicy capital murder case in a Bud featured episode?
Will Bud participate in a marathon soon? Did you see him scale those stairs (is there a boating term for stairs?)in Persian Gulf.

Happy JAG Day!
It's only February and already we have several
exciting announcements to share with you!
We are pleased to announce that Hallee Hirsh (Mattie
Grace) has graciously accepted our invitation to be a
part of this years JAGFanFest!
And that's not all!! Jade Carter has agreed to return
this year and serve as one of our auctioneers! For
those of you who were with us last year, you know it
is an event not to be missed!
We also have good news for all the writers and
aspiring writers. Norm Harris has agreed to conduct a
writing workshop again this year! Mr Harris is the
author of "Fruit of a Poisionous Tree", a novel
involving JAG lawyers.

last minute professional commitments that may prohibit

JAGFanFest 2003 is dedicated to the men and women of the Armed Forces. With so many service personnel deployed overseas right now, we have partnered with Operation Interdependence (OI) to host a "care package" drive in connection with this year's FanFest to show support for our troops.
To assist us in this endeavor, the wonderful folks at JAG have donated a raffle prize to be awarded to one lucky fan who takes part in this care package project. The prize is the 2002 Christmas gift to the cast and crew from the show. It's put out by JEEP Electronics and is described as a TV/AM/FM/Weatherband Flashlight Fluorescent Lantern. A very special gift indeed - thank you, HarrietJAG, for this terrific prize!
There are two ways to get in on this exciting opportunity:
If you're *not* going to be at the FanFest, you can make a monetary donation to OI through the FanFest either via PayPal using the donations button that will be up on our website shortly (or by e-mailing it directly to jagfanfest@yahoo.com) or by sending a check or money order payable to "Operation Interdependence" to:

Moist wipes, facial tissues, pens, pencils, stationery, stamps, dental floss, toothbrush, toothpaste, travel-size toiletries, gum, candy, phone cards, chapstick and music cds.
There will be a more complete list on our website within the next few days and feel free to use your imagination to come up with other things the troops would enjoy. Just remember that those who receive them may have to carry these things in a backpack, so think travel-size rather than economy size. This shouldn't be too hard to remember since you'll need to pack them in your suitcase for the trip. :) Or you can boost the local economy by picking up something after you arrive in California. Whichever you do, if you're coming to the FanFest, please bring a few
things with you.
Raffle tickets will be given out based on the monetary
value of the donation - participants will receive one (1) raffle ticket for each $5 (or part thereof) spent on supplies or donated outright.
Complete information on this project will be up on the
FanFest website within the next few days. Please take a minute to go up there and read all the details of this very special project and find out how you can honor the cast and crew of JAG by supporting our troops overseas.
Whether you make a cash donation or whether you bring items for the care packages, we urge you to be as generous as you can. It means a lot to our service personnel to receive these signs of support from home. For many of the men and women deployed in service to this country, these care packages will be the only ones they receive during their deployment. Let's show our troops that

Was anyone surprised by Bud's name choice for boy #2? Bud would not have been a wise choice. Seems like Big Bud is back to his old attitude. After, "Answered Prayers" where he actually complimented Mikey, there would be some hope for him. It is scarey to think of him as some type of harbinger on Bud and Mikey's future, but I can not shake the thought. But, back to the better Bud, and I am glad to see evolution has such immediate results. LOL! It is comforting to see Our Bud as a consistent character, especially in this upheavel that is JAG.

- JAGFanFest Initial Results -- JAGFanFest Planning Committee, 10:12:52 09/21/03 Sun
The JAGFanFest has been a resounding success!
Our goal was to have fun meeting all our JAGnik friends, the
wonderful people at JAG, and to raise enough for the American Red
Cross and and the Navy and Marine Corps Relief Society to reach the
$50,000 mark for all three years.
We are so proud of all those in attendance and the AWESOME Auction
talents of Jade Carter, Zoe McLellan and Karri Turner, and all the
wonderful raffles we have collected AT LEAST $25,000 this weekend
alone!
We still have some various raffles and other donations to account
for, and charitable accountin will be forthcoming once we all return
home and collect our thoughts, but initial totals indicate this to
be the largest attendance and THE largest donation each from Club
Raffles and Auctions!
This has come from the JAG Fans!
Thanks so much for your AMAZING support! We all appreciate it so
much and the donations to the charities will make sure it is put to
good use.

Darcy Meyers, a writer for JAG, has expressed an interest in being part of the FanFest. She'd like to do a Q&A for us on Friday evening, but she's not sure that her schedule will permit it.

Our webmistress has been hard at work, and we have
several exciting new things for you to see up in the
"Commissary" section of our website at
http://www.jagfanfest.org.
Check out some of the great raffle packages being
offered by the fan clubs! These raffles are open to
everyone, whether or not they will be attending the
FanFest. Tickets are available on-line for a limited
period of time - each club's requirements are
different, so read the terms and conditions carefully.
There are more raffle packages still to come, so
there's sure to be something to appeal to you.
The Chaz Awards section has been updated. You may now
read most of the stories that have been submitted for
the fanfic portion of the contest (all will be up by
Friday). The deadline for submissions to the contest
is August 15, so there's still time to send us your
story.
The rules for nominating JAG episodes for Chaz Awards
and the categories/descriptions are now available, and
we are accepting nominations immediately. So take a
look, and make your nomations now! Those Chaz Awards
will go to the writers of the winning episodes.
Saving the best for last - we are now previewing some
of the auction items that will be available at the
FanFest! Our Auction committee has been working
diligently to round up unique and wonderful items that
any JAG fan would be pleased to have in their
collection. Pictures and/or item descriptions will
whet your appetite for this exciting charity event.
Jade Carter, Karri Turner, and Zoe McLellan are our
guest auctioneers, and it's sure to be a terrific
evening!

More exciting news for you:
First off, Peter Murnik (aka Clark Palmer) has once again agreed to visit with fans at the FanFest. This will give Peter a clean sweep of the FanFests - he's been at every single one of them. And we truly do appreciate the generous gift of his time. Peter has helped to make each FanFest very special for those who have been able to attend, and we're truly pleased to be able to welcome him back again.
Second, Jade Carter will not only be at the FanFest, he has agreed to act as an auctioneer at the main event on Saturday evening. Those who were at the Fest last year can tell you that Jade has a wonderful sense of humor, and he's very quick with a quip. So the auction promises to be a lot of fun, even if you don't happen to win anything. Our thanks to Jade for helping us out this way!
Third - a reminder that the current registration pricing of $75 ends on Monday, June 30. Beginning on July 1 and continuing through the end of August, the registration fee will be $85.
Lastly - another reminder that all of the hotel rooms set aside for the FanFest have been reserved along with a whole bunch more. As long as they still have rooms available, the hotel will honor the special FanFest discount pricing. So if you're thinking about going, it's best to reserve your room now.

As much as I hate it I think Bud in all likelyhood is dead. This is very unfortunate since he was by far the most real genuine character on the show. But with the loss of his leg he will go into shock and bleed do death in about 10 minutes. The reason I assume he is dead is because he will be discharged from the Navy with the loss of his leg. Those who said he would be able to perform his duty as a Judge Advocate without a leg are misinformed. All naval officers including JA's must meet NMFT standards... i.e if he was to develop something as small as asthma he would be discharged must less physical dismemberment, the navy does afford him a fairly generous severance package..hehehe sorry that was terrible. Of course that is only assuming the show follows Military procedure which of course it doesn't...Harm and Mac would never be CMDR and LT. COL paygrade at their respective ages...it's impossible Congress sets year in paygrade before you can meet with a promotion board. Not that it bothers me, it is after all a TV show..so hopefully Bud will be okay, but then again I think he's in trouble.

We have exciting news about the upcoming JAGFanFest 2003.
We have our very first actor confirmation!Jade Carter, the talented Canadian who plays Harm's Russian brother, Sergei, has accepted our invitation to attend JAGFanFest 2003 - subject to scheduling conflicts, as always.
Jade is very excited about this opportunity. In responding to our invitation, Jade said, "I would be honored to attend this year's Fan Fest! I truly appreciate the support of the fans, and the amazing dedication of both benefiting charities" and promised to "do my best to keep my schedule clear."
Jade closed his note by saying that "it will be my pleasure to give something back to the fans who make our show possible!"
Those who got to meet Jade at last year's FanFest know that he is a warm and friendly man with a quick wit and quirky sense of humor. We are very pleased to have him back again as our honored guest.
If you haven't yet made plans to come to the FanFest, remember that the current discounted pricing of $75 ends on June 30. Beginning July 1 and going through August 31, the cost for registration will be the full price of $85. FYI - while tickets are nonrefundable, they are fully transferable with advance notice to the FanFest. So if you think you might be able to come, get your tickets now. You can sell them to someone else later, if your plans change.
Also, just a reminder that all of the rooms we had set aside for the FanFest have been reserved. The hotel will continue to honor the special FanFest pricing as long as they have space available at the hotel. But the 2003 FanFest is the same weekend as the Emmys, so the hotel is likely to fill up fast. If you want to ensure that you have a room, you should make your reservations now. The hotel has a liberal cancellation policy, if the need arises.

Hi all, well I dont know if you remember this but on July 1st, I posted messages to everyone to let you know that because Shirley had closed down Full Review and because of how saddened everyone was by this, I decided to create JAG Review to keep her original vision alive. Well it is now completed. I have reviews from some of the old reviewers from Full Review and I got permission from Shirley to include her reviews and all of the screenshots for the seasons that she had made :) I have a really great person who will be making the screenshots for the upcoming season. Patrick Labyorteaux is the recipient of this year's Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Department of Florida Commanders Special Recognition Award. Patrick is being honored for his "realistic and inspirational portrayal" of an amputee on "JAG."
The Disabled American Veterans are honoring Patrick in Orlando, Florida at their state convention on June 5th to June 8th. They have invited Patrick to accept his award in person, as well as to do a meet and greet with the disabled veterans who are very eager to meet their hero in person.

I love your updates,it lifted up my down spirits. Im one of those that resent this storyline for Bud,sure its inspiring but it depresses me and I sure want more Bud than these useless people like Singer or Manetti.
Bud is a great lawyer and I want him back ASAP and its great writers are not to destroy Bud and Harriet too.
They are so lousy with relationships,for once fans like warm fuzzies and entertainment and not turning Jag into GAG.
Less of Singer and Manetti but more of Bud or even Tiner and AJ.

now we know Bud is on limited duty for now and we know Bud will ask to be put on permant duty we were told 85% are discharged that go before the medical board with Bud's leg being amputeed I see no hope a slim 15% of staying in the Navy how much can he take especially when he saw that LTCMDR Manetti is in his office that had to hurt him Harm said he would have to fight to stay in with what he has been dumped on him I do not think he has the fight in him any more so enjoy Bud now folks his Naval Career is over

I want the real like actor PL to hire a fitness trainer, go on a diet, (let's admit, he's a husky guy), and become buff!
There is another JAGathon, and this time, Sturgis crosses the finish line first, then in a tight group just maybe a minute later, AJ, Harm, Mac, Tiner and BUD come across the finish line! Sturgis can't keep the pride and admiration off his face! AJ, Harm, Mac, Tiner all gang around Bud with a rowdy cheering session! Harriet comes bursting through and her and Bud throw themselves in each other's arms!!! Bud and everyone else realize that despite his injury, Bud can be a fully functional Naval JAG officer. Then when the medical board meets to see if Bud can stay in the Navy, they just refer back to the JAGathon.
I have a feeling that AJ will fight with all his two star might to keep Bud in. He will feel responsible for what happened by sending Bud to the Seahawk and then to make it up to Bud will throw all his two star weight to keep Bud in the Navy.
Kip, are you hearing me??? LOL!

The scene hospital when they discussed his injury openly (H asked does it hurt?), was one of the best in a TV show I have seen in a long time.
I am really looking forward to another honest discussion for these two.

PL and KH are doing such a great job with their roles this year. They are portraying a heartbreaking situation, and are conveying the pain, angst, and grace that such a situation can bring out in a couple. I love the growth that Bud and Harriet have done and will do in this series. I just wish Teflon Harm would grow up, too!
What curves would you throw them if you were the writers, and how would you resolve it? Come on, think about it.....

I dont know but Im still feeling sad on what tptb did to poor Bud. His life miseries and tragedies just keep piling up,I know I know it's a challenge to him and it strengthens him as well as a dream role for PL but I dont like it.
Im one miserable Bud fan and I hate to see more marital strife with him and Harriet.
Still wishing they didnt have to go to this route.

Speaking of A.J. being a 2 star, I giggled when A.J. introduced himself as a Rear Admiral at the Senate investigation. Immaturity aside, I would like to see Bud finish on his own without giving up. It would be a big personal triumph, but perhaps not as overt enough for T.V. I like your idea of another Jagathon. It's one of my favorites, and I have been watching it alot lately.
