She sadly left the auditorium, and hitching a ride on a tractor trailor was driven away. Harriet gasped as she only then saw the sign on the back of the truck. "ALPO." Harriet grabbed Bud's arm! "Bud! Bud!" she wailed. "Pearl is commiting SUICIDE! DO something!" Bud immediately.....

Just then they both looked up in time to see they were about to collide w/ Tiner. There was a sickening THUD! and feathers went everywhere. Katherine and Michy looked blankly at each other and then started shrieking, "It's all your FAULT!" * "MY fault?!" YOU were the one that just HAD to buzz them ONE MORE TIME!" and so it went on as they zoomed out of sight and earshot. Meanwhile, the crowd below was searching for Tiner.
