Subject: One day Harm and Brumby were out in the hot hot sun digging a ditch for their boss, Bud. The worked for several hours before a shiny red pickup truck pulled up to the side of the road. Brumby decided to go up to the Boss to ask him why he was down here digging ditches, when the Boss was in his nice air-conditioned truck. So he trudged up out of the ditch. When he got to the truck the tinted window slowly lowered. Brumby could just see the shadow of the Boss’ face. He said, “Hey boss, how come we’re down here digging’ ditches and you’re in this nice air-conditioned truck?” Bud thought for a moment and then said, “Well, Brumby, that’s because I have intelligence.” Brumby looked puzzled and asked, “What’s intelligence?” Bud considered this and the put his hand out the window, palm out. He said, “hit my hand.” Brumby hesitated and then swung out his fist. At the last moment Bud moved his hand and said, “that’s intelligence.”
