Steve Perry doesn't strike me as someone who holds a grudge. Afterall, he didn't really say anything that bad about the other guys and bands fight all the time. My brother is in a band and just about everyday they're about to break up. They've had fist fights and tried to kill each other but there is a bond that keeps them together like a family.

Like all bands they will one day see the error in their ways especially when the final tally for this "arrival" (or departure tour that everybody seems to call it) is added up. Neal and Jon still have bills to pay and in a year or two I bet they go begging to Steve and with enough money tossed their way you KNOW they will sign up for a reunion tour. Look at all the bands that have vowed never to play together again (with the exception of John Fogerty and CCR). They always get that itch to make money or in Steve's case to make music. Neal and Jon will feel that need to make a fast buck so they'll sign on and bury the hatchet.

They did this Journey thing because they thought it would be a sure way to make a lot of money. With Augeri they could tour non-stop for ten years like they did with Steve and make stupid money. Now that they've seen that the formula doesn't work and that they are staying in trailer parks and filling tiny venues rather than stadiums and first class hotels, they know what they have to do. Just wonder who will be man enough this time to admit that they made a mistake and do the right thing.
