Subject: Thought you guy's could appreciate this!

As you may know I attended the Atlanta benefit this weekend with Styx, REO, Journey and others. It was awesome. Now it's what happened after the show that I need to share. Before we got the elevator (me, my husband and his best friend) going back to our room I made the comment that boy if this door opened and Steve Augeri was in there it would make my night. My husband gave me the look like I can't believe you said that. You would leave me for him? I said no, I would shake his hand and tell him what a wonderful job he did and proceed to want to talk with him more. Well, I then opened mouth and inserted foot!! I said now if it was Steve Perry on the other hand I would say baby you got to go I am going with him. Now my husband who is an optomistic person and believes things like that could happen got really upset. He said I can't believe you would dump me for him and a few other things. Well I tried to take my foot out of my mouth and say I would not and it would be a gazillion chances to 1 that that would ever happen. He was still upset. But, you know what made it worse. His best friend (John) said hell I would dump you for Steve Perry too. Anyway an hour or so later after I had convinced him that I love him and would never leave him for Steve Perry (even though I have said since I was a teen that I was going to marry him some day)he got somewhat okay. But, the joke from then on was if Steve Perry would show up he would lose his wife and best friend to him. You had to be there. It was really funny but, also heartwarming to know my husband got upset at what I said. Now to put the icing on the cake. Last night while in bed and getting loving with my husband I said come on Steve! My husband then starting singing Oh Sherrie to me.... He said I will be whatever you want me to be at this moment. Wasnt that sweet! So, I guess he got over it and it will be a running joke around here for awhile.
