I enjoyed the expanded addition. I think Neal started the wedge by doing the solo albums, even when warned by Herbie not to do it, and asked by Steve not to do it. That was really the beginning of the end IMHO.
Jon said he didnt understand why Perry was so distant.
Perry said he didnt buy into Herbies family. He is one who likes autonomy (control) like Herbie. It was a group destined for clashing.
I really liked Steve Smith and his interview. I liked it on the Frontiers and Beyond video. He seems like a very nice man with music as his life, not his ego.
I think Neal and Jon should have done what Steve Smith did, Let JOURNEY go, pursued other musical ventures.
I think these guys are much more happier apart than together. and I am not holding my breath either for another reunion.
