Subject: Story Time! (sorry its long)

Do you guys have a special or funny story about any of Steve's songs? I mean was there something that happened to you while listening to him or that the song was involved in? To give you a better idea of what I'm talking about and to give you all a better sense of my love for the man, here is my Strung Out story:

I was in high school when Street Talk came out. Either junior or senior. (Please don't do the math! I am 18 with 16 years experience) I was dating a really sweet guy named Jon. We were outside by my car talking & I bent down to put my books inside. I hit my right front tooth on the roof of my car. The bottom half of the tooth as well as the back of it was shattered. I know that that probably in itself sent chills down your spine but you should also know that the root of the tooth was exposed in the back. Making it just a tad painful to say the least!

Jon freaked! He wanted to take me to the hospital, I told him I was OK and that I would just go home and see what my Mom wanted me to do. Well I go home and my Mom freaked! She immediately called the dentist; she frantically pleaded with him to fit me in. After she hung up she came running in my room and told me to run out to the car we were going right away. I looked at her straight in the face and said, "I can't go anywhere right now! They're going to show Steve's new video!" Her jaw just dropped to the floor. And believe it or not, well I'm sure you're the only ones who can believe it; I stayed right there until the video was over. I was in pain the whole time but it was so worth it! I love that video and proudly tell the story till this day (obviously). My mom still says that that was insane but if the same situation came up today I wouldn't hesitate to do the same thing again. No hesitation at all.
