See my other posts in this thread, most of the things I'd change in spiders are to do with policies rather than physical changes.
To summarise though:
1) Healthy and Saftey stuff; {IMHO the club is allowed to get too full, the music volume is way over the top (before you say it's meant to be that way, I'm talking that my ears can be ringing for a week!), and it's taken them all these years to stop flauting hygene regulations with the meager glass washing (thank god they've changed to plastic glasses)}.
2) The laid back admittence on the door.
3) The persistent homophobia of the security staff which seems to be going unchecked. On this last point I admit that I not witnessed it, but there have been quite a few complaints about it on here. So, judge for yourself.
4) The continued poor treatment of staff. I've never worked there, but I've known many people that have worked at Spiders, and the same theme keeps coming out, regardless of whether they were sacked or left for pastures new.

To qualify all of what I've said: first two points are from my first hand experience and last two I have formed talking to people and reading comments on this message board.

So where as I as many other people am glad that those 'pioneers' actually set up Spiders and gave us refuge from townie hell, those are my objective critcisms alá opinons, since you ask. But whatever, always will have a soft spot for the place.

D.
