As far as i'm aware, the current ''(questionable)'' management are the one's who actually made Spiders in the first place back in the late 70's.
If it hadn't been for them takin the risk to provide an alternative for people like myself and the likes of Roger back then, and perservering through the rough times when a busy Saturday night was around the 300 mark, there'd be no Spiders now for you all to moan and whinge about.
We all have ideas on how we would like to do things and what we'd change to make the club a better place, i know i certainly have, but Roger asked, 'how would you change Spiders if you owned it ',not lets have a go at the people who provided you with a club to come out to.
Some might say there is a problem with young people, but i was 14 when i first blagged my way into the old Bier Keller on a Saturday night, we've all been there, so whats happened to tolerance ? I agree some of the young whippersnappers haven't quite come to terms with the old Spiders Code of Etiquette, but then its maybe up to some of us older ones to introduce them to it. The Townies are the minority in our club, and its unfair to tarnish them all with the same brush, but if you see any of them cuasing bother, let some one know about it and get the door staff to sort it.
On a personal level, there are times when i've perhaps found some of the managements decisions a little fustrating, but hardly questionable. What is it you find questionable Mr.Gilson ?
