Muscles strain with each powerful stroke against the thinning air, the blue's song continuing despite the breathing that now grew slightly painful within his breast... But there was no longer any control in Peth's body; his life lay ahead of him, and his soul knew no bodily limits. Weariness was nothing to him now, pain was nonexistant, the only agony that his whirling mind could register was the horror of the gap that he couldn't seem to bridge... though the musky sweat that fell to add a lusty sheen against his hide was proof enough of energy spent to accomplish such a desperate goal, the space between the powerful bodies of blue and green was still there. Praying for closeness that as of now he could not have, his mind reached out to touch the green that still eluded his loving grasp... and lo! The blue is rewarded for his endeavor, recieving not rejection but words that drift across the unknown realms of mental communication.... his return response sent with the rumble of laughter, not merely tinged with mirth... but with the odd tart flavor of words that beg for more, words of longing; and words of promise.

This is only the beginning dear Viouth; let me show you what it is like to truly have a weyrmate... For you have only touched upon the silky golden shroud still draped about the true treasure beneath.

And then, almost before his last word is lovingly returned, the Green's vibrant viridian hide is shining a'new... forest hide rippling with graceful ease as higher and higher she rises into the skies of the unknown. Peth's creel of calling rides with the winds that carry him after her... higher and higher until tapering off into nithing as the blue's mentality does the same. He has no mind to answer her eventual challenge with words... but as the fiercely determined bugle rips from his throat, it melds with the emotions that shine clearly through eyes swirling a concerned yellow. Indeed, his mind is all song... and the song is entirely Viouth.

J'neli is scarcely aware of the two tears that fall down a human face now fogged in the reality of the ground; in his mind his face is a long bluehided muzzle, proudly soaring upwards with the speed of a demon, his eyes are sharp, ovaline, swirling in concern that Viouth would refuse by escape; his love and promise of a new life. His shoulders rise and fall as 'his' wings force the air back and behind 'his' lengthy winding body. He is weightless, and would be free from all worry and trouble but for the endless desperation that rages through every vein in his body... 'Faster!' Faster!, two voices as one... and as J'neli's hand grips T'yin's fiercely... the mental voices rise together in a seeming chant of reassurance for each other.. and longing for the others.

Viouth!

'T'yin!'
