Subject: Paper flowers...
In reply to: Peth and J'neli 's message, "The little spanish that I know is not sufficent enough to supply you with an equally graceful subject line... therefore, I can only smile." on 21:39:31 03/13/03 Thu

Almost as though sky-hued tendrils are wrapping around her wings and tugging on them, beckoning her to come back, come down-- Viouth snakes her head under her beating wings, passion-enflamed eyes suddenly locking on Peth for the first time during her flight. An unexpected and incredibly powerful emotion explodes in her chest, banging against her ribcage and sending electric currents of renewed energy to her wings. Is this love? This thought, a tiny question amidst the dazzling radiance of this newfound energy, never before felt for another dragon, is kept close and flickering near her, not allowing Peth to feel or sense it -- though the blue's mind is entwined tightly with hers already. Tearing her gaze from her suitor, the green realizes she has either lost speed or Peth has gained with his relentless pursuit; he's only a few dragon-lengths behind now.

'Good.'

T'yin cracks open one eye, vision hazy but sharpening through sheer willpower. Green emotions flooding his body and tears flowing freely down his cheeks, he looks at J'neli, who is by all appearances equally infused. With his free hand, he scrubs at his eyes and, almost as though to make sure this is all real, he tastes his own salty tears. Another incredulous look passes over his face as Viouth's explosion of passion above rocks his frame; he stiffens against the boulder for a moment, waiting for it to pass like it usually does during flights-- but no, this is not the end. Emotion this intense when the flight isn't over yet? Amazement crosses his face, then some half-happy, half-alarmed consternation as the emotion doesn't fade. Pressing himself forcefully against the boulder at his back, T'yin attempts to stay in some control... gripping J'neli's hand tightly before easing the pressure up a little. The insanely relentless emotion surging wildly through his body still doesn't fade...

Viouth screams her desire to the sky, a sky so blue that it reminds her of Peth and her desire for him. Love? That raging emotion hasn't gone away and she rides its energy to the last drop, rocketing ahead of her suitor and into dry, chill, thin air. The abrupt temperature change chills the gleam of her hide, causing it to sparkle like sun on snow instead of light spraying across liquid. Feeling her rider fully connected to her elicits a joyous bugle-- and feeling J'neli so close to him, Peth's mind sensually brushing hers-- Sheer delight sends a shiver down her spine as the green dramatically flares her now-tired wings and pauses, hovering despite the lack of buoyancy. Her blazing orbs fixate on the blue dragon below her, and for once Viouth's mind reaches out strongly to his... offering her passion, her desire, her lust... alongside her love, her soul, her life, and that of her rider...

She dives.

T'yin shivers so strongly that he cracks the back of his head against the boulder, providing just enough pain to urge the greenrider away from the big rock. He feels an abrupt dropping sensation in his gut and doesn't need to peer hazily upwards to know that Viouth is in her dive. Not that her dive is the usual small green stoop-- she's several miles high now. Crystal green eyes squeeze shut as T'yin valiantly tries one last time to fully restrain the desire pounding through his well-built body... and to no avail. Eyes snap open and almost seem to glow with the same sheen that caresses his green's lithe form; almost desperately he turns to J'neli... a question forming on his lips... the slightest hint of fear of rejection shining through in those pale eyes...

Viouth bugles defiantly as she dives, directly past Peth and hurtling downwards at speeds far greater than she's ever flown before. Several miles separate her from the ground; she has no fear of pain. Her mind reaches out to the blue, dragging him down with her as strongly as she can manage... still making the descent a plaintive question... and yet a dare, a challenge... She is diving-- can he keep up?

Later, T'yin will probably look back and blame what he's about to do on Viouth's bugle and the utter crest of emotions that it represents. For now, his mind is quite literally wiped out by his green, he is his green, and in such a way that he's never before experienced. His free hand shoots out to grip J'neli's wrist and he leans over the bluerider, eyes unfocused but almost frighteningly intense. He and Viouth unite in one final moment as his lips brush across J'neli's warm skin, and it takes little urging for the greenrider to finally do what he's wanted to since he met the bluerider: surrender completely. Though his hand releases J'neli's own to run shaking fingers through the bluerider's hair as lips finally meet, T'yin manages to keep some short distance between their bodies in an act of supreme self-control.
