She called back to them, in reply to Golgith’s call.

Now, which to choose…she wouldn’t choose yet. No. That would take all of the fun out of it! She couldn’t let them be so…arrogant as to think she was easily caught. Oh no. She would have at least two more tricks before she would choose who to be caught by. She would have to see which rider G’rein preferred.

She knew it would be her choice, not his, this time, but still, she would never want to cause him pain. But she would still have to see what to do to keep them chasing.

With another screech of challenge, she shot upwards, ever upwards…up…up so far she felt she could touch the sun on her next wingbeat…and then down, skimming the thick white cloud below her, making a trail with her long, green tail. Could they do what she had just done?

She doubted it.

She sent a message below to G’rein. Which rider did he prefer? He didn’t as of yet. That girl one was coming towards him, so she was feeling better about the flight…he sent her back that he didn’t care. So she would have to continue to test them. How high could they fly before dropping to the cloud?
