Are washed away...

Golgith gave a little grumble, his eyes livid with dragon emotion. He watched with gathering excitement as the green flew up, and found himself sky-rocketing after her. When she flew down, and made her mark in the clouds, and it was perfect. He could _never_ do better, but he could get as close as dragonly possible!

He surged up, the heat soaking into his dark hide, his skin rippling slightly with the winds his speed created. Higher, higher, he couldn't stop flying. Let Myth win? Never! he just kept on flying, and to spectators, he would look like a little black-blue dot in the sky, barely the size of the dot of on an i. Then, the heat was getting to him. he wanted lower. There was less air up here. But, if she wanted him to fly high...

The desperate Golgith flew a couple more feet into the air, and then he turned around, speeding towards the ground and clouds like he was shot from a canon. His descent was not simple; his stream-line body twisted into a magnificent spiral as the dark hide met the dampness of the cloud. It was only felt momenttarily as his body shifted in his ever-lasting spiral down to Pern, and the shape of his trail was a rounding spiral that he couldn't help but be happy with. However, was it enough?

He pulled out of the dive quickly, and flew toward the emerlad desire of his heart. What did she think? What could he do next to please her?
