Maria was now merging with Myth. The sapphire gem soared higher and higher, feeling that he was going so high as to touch the sun. He felt immense heat, like being pressed into an oven. He reveled in it. But Myth finally went too high, and spiralled down to leave his own distinct trail in the thick cloud.

Life is Meaningless

Maria briefly won the struggle against dragon emotion, and stepped back a few paces. But as Myth flew down to leave his trail, she was swept up again. She stepped towards the greenrider once more, each step a struggle between memory and dragon love.

When you love, a part of you dies.

Maria/Myth were skimming the cloud, doing a little loop and finishing with a wiggle and a large loop. Then they were beating with their wings, forcing air under them, carrying them closer to G'rein/Grenith.

((If this post seems better than M'kern, it's because I only got M'kern, so I'm still developing his personality. Maria is an inner aspect of myself, so she writes herself, really.))
