Man....

I was thinking about you before Christmas and again tonight and look what I found! I checked out the pictures of your new boat... sweet. And speaking of new boats, that is what started everything. Just before Christmas, I bought a new boat myself (well as soon as they ship it from the factory I will have it).

I am still in Central Texas... and married with kids... so my choice was slightly different from yours. Its a 18' Sea Ray fish n ski. We are getting it with the optional 135hp Merc (standard is a 115), GPS, chart recorder, etc...

The cool thing is that I will be able to leave my house and be on the water ready to go in under 20mins as there is a 1500 acre reservoir 10 miles from the house. I also got it with the Galvenized trailer and snap on cover so I can leave the bow cover on for bay fishing and possibly, on really nice days, I can even take it a few miles off shore.

Anyway, drop me an email when you get the chance. Ill also start checking out the board on a regular basis. BTW, we still have our website

http://www.worldvillage.com

as well as I have been working full time for ETI as a consultant (lots of travel over the last two years). In fact, it looks like I may be in LA the week after next, 17th thru the 21st so... if your still there, maybe we could hook up.

Anyway, if for some reason there are two Jim Days that like to fish this much... and your the wrong one... I apologize (but I bet Im right)

l8r,
Trey

P.S. I still have the large Shimono Spinning Reel and 15 foot custom Fenwick stripper rod that I built. Also, I already have my first stripper trip to Texoma planned with the new boat for some time in Feb with my old man and brother.
