Subject: Thank you Stewart !

It meant so very much to me to finally have the opportunity to meet you! (a quest of mine which began over two years ago!) You were a very gracious and knowledgeable host during our visit at Four Vines!
Of all the wines we tasted, I liked the Naked Chardonnay, but the Port was my favorite!

Yesterday was the best birthday ever for me! One that I will never forget! I almost "chickened out" right before leaving TN (BC is simply not a fan of air travel ... and, the story about the "air pockets" gave me something to ponder before boarding my flight home ... geez! :)
But, I'm so glad I made it to CA ...
meeting you made all those anxious moments worthwhile!
And, I have no doubt that I have been blessed with a guardian angel named "Lou" (aka, LauraG :)!

Last night LauraG and I drove to Moonstone Beach!
I had already toured Hearst Castle earlier this week ...
but, we drove down there to at let her see the castle from a distance.
Today, she and I visited the Mid-State Fair!
*** I wore my "Biker" shirt! :)
Then, she took us on a drive down the coast to Morro Bay.
*** she "introduced" me to "Crab Louie"! ...
delicious I must say!
But, I still don't understand why she laughed the other night when I ordered the Salmon ...
"you're not supposed to 'hear' the 'l' I'm told ...
she said it's pronounced "Sammon" ...
just doesn't sound quite right to me though ...
it's like someone saying "sammich" instead of "sandwich"! :)


Well, it's about time to start packing and begin my journey back to TN ...
so, I guess I'll close for now!
But, I feel very blessed, and thankful!

Too cool BC! Happy birthday and I'm so happy for you and Laura that you had such a great time in CA and even got to meet the elusive SFM!
