Well put Goktimus. Now if I can add some small points.

From what I know the US has never had a good track record of fixing a problem after a small war has been started. Right now we are all over the place, in Afganistan, Africa, the Middle East, and several other places around the world. Were not even done helping Afganastan get back on it's feet, and we're trying to declare War on Iraq? IMHO it seems a bit juvinal to jump around from one problem to the next without finishing what we started elsewhere.

Also on the agenda is this issue, if we are pulled into a war our economy will suffer an even bigger hit, and we already have a large portion of our population unemployed. Tax cuts to the rich are not the solution, if the Bush Administration wanted to truely start up the economy they would give the cut to the lower income families. It could be called the Trickle up effect. The ralling cry of this war makes me wonder if the Bush Admisitration is thinking that if we go to war we will forget about our own woes, and thus secure him another 4 years.

Throw in that his comment of the "Axis of Evil" has not won us any fans, and our choice of keeping up friendship with the Saudi Princes (who I shall remind you have a very big share in OPEC, and have kept the cut off point at 23 for oil, keeping the gas prices high)who have shown several faces in this mess, has led, at least myself, to believe that this is a way for our president and his company to make a name for himself.

Lastly you will note that several tons of oil are shiped in through Iraq and it seems to me that those voicing the most want for this war are those that are in the oil industry and have a share in the money from our gas sales. Funny how the US tends to want to take out govements that are not "user friendly" with corperations. I'm not saying Saddam is a good person, on the contray he's a cretian, yet we want to take him out so we can put in someone who is more for the US and less against them. Dare I to bring up the issue of the elected offical that we took out in south America and replaced with a very nasty guy just because he was pro-US? And forget not that the US put Saddam in power back when he was fighting another war.

We tend to want to be the hustler of the sandbox, so long as everyone likes us and does what we want were okay with them.
DS
