Rumble and Frenzy did indeed both have 'drivers in the movie. And if their following the cartoon continuity(or the comic actually), then Rumble wasn't the red one; sorry(I know this opens a blue v purple can of worms too so I'll move on ;))

i too liked spikes hesitation though im uncear what that cog was. did prime give him a vital peice without whchi he couldnt access the pwer of the sparks within or what? well, he did pass the powr to buster once so anythign spossible...and the art was rushed in some places i think...i could swear that was spike or maybe buster that prowl squisges...liek i said, hope they deal with the consequences of autobtos meurdering, controlled or no...

gonna keep readin....
