Subject: Desiderata - what are yours?

What are your desiderata? Desiderata are things that are considered desireable/essential - ie, the desiderata for taking a vacation are time and money. What are yours? What do you consider to be essential? A friend of mine recently posted this to a website we both use and the results were interesting - everything from walking barefoot on wet grass every now and again, to buying perfect strangers flowers, to looking up in cities to see what architects and designers have done (which I tried, and noticed a sculpture on a building I have walked by many many times over the years).

So what are yours?
