Subject: I picked up the reproduction Rodimus Prime......

Man o man, that toy is a brick! It does nothing! Though I will always love G1, Rodimus has made me more aware than ever of looking at the past through rose-tinted specs - I definitely remember that toy being cooler! (I didn't have it but one of my friends did, do perhaps I remember the novelty value!) He does look cool in camper-van mode (sorry, I just can't think of that as a truck!)

I also picked up RiD Magnus and there was, I am pleased to say, no problems connecting him to my CR Fire Convoy (though I did wonder what Omega Prime would sound like for a moment or two! :-p) - I can see what people mean, that Magnus is little more than an accessory set, but Omega Prime is cool!

On other TF news, has the G1 DVD been put back a month? I thought it was due to be out 31st December? Please don't let this turn out to be similar to the case of the movie..........or this time next year we'll still be looking for it.
