For many years, except for TF the movie, I had very little transformers media to enjoy except for my collection of the comic series. Over the years I re-read the series over and over, and I came to like Thunderwing. Now, I have this hang-up, where if I like a character, I must have this plastic likeness. There's no stopping it. I must have the toy version of the character.

Well, back in December, for my birthday my grandmother gave me a monatary gift. Now, instead of saving it, I instead looked to e-bay. There it was: a complete Thunderwing with filecard. I won the auction, and awaited the arrival of my Thunderwing with bated breath.

A week later it arrived. I immediatly tore open the packaging. I held the pretender shell in its Anthropomorphic mode, and held the robot in its robot mode. I then held the two in their jet modes. I put them together in the super jet, and then put the robot inside the pretender shell....

And that was about it. Its been sitting on a shelf ever since.

Arms on the pretender shell that stick out at obtuse angles... a horribly sculpted looking head oddly placed on a chest that sticks out much further than it should... and lamp posts for legs...

...and I paid almost 60 bucks for it.

I found more enjoyment out of my TM waspinator that cost me $10.
