Hello Cowboy.

I think when we first find out about things like this to do with our loved ones, it can be a surprise. However, please be assured that it is not you fault- sometimes these things just happen! Your daughter is still a special individual. I can say that as a fellow Christian I believe that I may have Dyslexia too (in fact was diagnosed as such in a test). However, people have on many occasions appreciated my creativity in song writing, poetry, art and ministry. It was a fight as I had no diagnosis at the time, so could get no help but I am also a qualified teacher. It is an opportunity to overcome difficulties as all Christians are called to do so that we can help and support other families and individuals. We Bible-believing Christians know that God was aware of us from the womb-in fact even before and that He has a plan for all our lives. The most important thing is that your daughter gets the help and encouragement she needs so that gets all the support she needs so she can learn to be all she can be and do all she can do by God's grace.
