Again I totally hear you that that must be frustrating. Prior to my daughter getting help through the school i had a lot of private tutors - many recommended by her teachers. it did help my case later on when they really started to take her problem seriously - everyone knew we were really trying.

but again I want to point out, my daughter wouldn't even guess at words. even with schools giving 2nd and 3rd and 4th chances, she was not even close to passing.

Do you live in the US? Once he has to start taking the standardized tests there will be no denying any real issues. There is no way in heck my daughter could pass one of those. Heck, she would probably get like a 10%.
