What I actually mean is that my son is at such a low reading level that the school feels he will really struggle and get frustrated in the high school resource room. So they wanted him to go into MICI class which would mean he would not receive a diploma only a certificate of completion. So by what you are saying they have to make accommodations for him in resource no matter what and even if his reading level is way behind it is our choice and he can stay in resource room?
