They did Special Ed testing and said that she does not qualify and therefore cannot have and IEP only a 504. Because they have this 2 year dyslexic retraining program and its success they do not consider dyslexia a learning disabilty only a "Specific LD". Like the program fixes the dyslexia. But there is no cure only ways to manage it for the rest of her life.
