you can and will get burnt out. especially if you have to fight with the school district for help,IEP, etc. I gained over 30lbs. during the prediagnosis and postdiagnosis periods. i am trying to exercise to keep my sanity. my second child was just diagnosed and it's back to fighting for her IEP now. I was lucky to find 32 Masonic group that tutors dyslexic children and things seem to be getting a bit easier. my only thoughts are to keep myself as healthy as possible because You(as the parent) are the only people that will have to deal with Dyslexia for the rest of your child's life. Stay Strong!
