I am a mother of three and have a full time job. My husband has to travel a lot due to his work, so I am in charge of family most of the time.
My eldest daughter, now 14, was finally diagnosed with dislexia one year and half ago (after spending years looking for answers to her poor progress in school), so as you can see I think I know what your are going through.
In my country there is no public aid or support for any kind of learning disabilities, so if you have a child with dislexia, it´s up to you to find help. I found it very helpful to have someone to talk to about my daily problems with homeworks and house chores. (My youngest daughter´s daycarecenter teacher is a psicologist specialized in learning disabilities and has helped me a lot). If you could find a group of parents with dislexic children, I think is the best way to blow steam and to get helpful hints to your greatest problems or difficulties.
