I am trained in two theraputic methods: Lindamood Bell and Slingerland. First, get a chalkboard (not whiteboard) and a yardstick. The larger the board the better. Write straight lines in rows across the board.

Next, using chalk, you must write say and look at the letter or number. For example, as you write a row of the letter d, say d, d, d, d, d, etc. Do this daily until you can see that letter or number and recognize it immediately without confusions.

Another thing to do is to write letters and numbers in the air with your whole arm. Again, you say, write and look at the air shape simultaneously.
