Subject: FOR GEMMY! THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL ANALOGY THAT ALL WILL APPRECIATE

Gemmy!

I once posted this to you..and I think it is time for you to read it again.....I dedicate it to you!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For Gemmy,

Every human being on this earth can be likened to a tree. The vast majority of people are like a coniferous tree. They are hardy, sturdy, and as long as they get a bare minimum of 'nutrition, water', etc., they do just fine.

There are a special rare few people, however, who are not conifers. They are more delicate, more sensitive. You cannot just leave them out on your patio for the 'sun and rain' to do as they please. If you did, they would wither and become ill. These plants are tropical plants. They still require 'nutrition, water', and all the other things a plant would need, but they need them in more sensitive ratios, and need more nurturing tending.

If these tropical plants are given the nurturing they need, given the time and patience they require, they will grow, will flourish. It will take much longer to see results than with your 'regular, everyday' plant, and it will often be more frustrating to work with them than with a 'regular' plant. But in time, your patience will pay off. For any avid gardener will tell you that the plants in their garden that require the most work are often the ones that burst forth with the most beautiful blossoms, given the proper care.

And so it is with the human "tropical". Even though it may take more patience, more work to live with, to BE, to nurture this person, with that right balance of care, patience and nurturing, the person that can be brought forth can be one of the most breath-taking sights this world has ever been privilege to see.
