I hate to sound simplistic here, but all the things you describe are depression related symtoms, especially the social stuff. Wish we could have gone together to junior high- I thought I was the geekiest thing on two feet. Heck, I WAS the geekiest thing on two feet. I was tall and scrawny. The other girls were developing, and I was just getting taller. Man, I looked and felt like a freak. I just got a book called "undoing depression" that I think you would like. I don't believe you were never meant to have children, a relationship, etc..... I think maybe it has FELT that way all along but remember.... depression is a big LIAR. A big, stinking liar. There is NO reason you can't have the things you want. Are your meds working?

You did make me chuckle though... with your spelling of Alfalfa...
