You are definitely worth our friendship and you haven't doused me with your problems. As I recall, I've let you hear some of mine as well.

I don't know the answers Bill but I do know that you and I are a whole lot alike. It does seem like some people have more than their fair share of heartache and grief. I don't know why that is. I don't know if other people just handle it better or aren't as sensitive. I know at times my impulsiveness or trying too hard to solve a problem has caused me more trouble.....

I won't tell you things are going to get better. I hope they will. You know I'm always here and I'll listen anytime. Also you have a standing invitation to come over any time you need a friend or are just lonely...whatever. Don't wait for us to call. Call us and if we're home, come on over. Most evenings I'm not doing much anyway and you know how early Scotty goes to bed :)

I hope that you felt a little better today.
