Yep, I agree Gem, you are right on target and you probably aren't getting responses because those in question really don't want to see things any other way, they feel they are right and they will remain stubborn so they can have their "pity parties". I mean, c'mon, driver's licenses and receipts are key factors in refunds and such in retail, anyone with common sense will know that. I've known quite a few who have messed around with the retail system when it comes to refunds and exchanges and such, it tees me off.
In my job, I deal with people who refuse to accept a concept called reality too. I mean people call and say I want to talk to the doctor. The doctor is with a patient every fifteen minutes, we treat about 35-40 people on a daily basis! And they can't understand when they need something and call back within five minutes and it hasn't been done.
Or, I love this one, the people who don't think about their work/school/social schedules ahead of time and they know darn well they'll need to come back to the doctor and such, so they're standing there saying, hmmm, this won't work, that won't work, no I can't do this, no I can't do that, while the phones are ringing and people are waiting in line behind them.
OH, and this is the doozie, now we've having to collect payments from those delinquent on their accounts before they can see the docs, it's only now of course when I'm working here they decide to start clamping down, but talk about fit throwing and dramatics. Atleast I admit when I can't pay my bills, I don't throw tantrums in front of other people and yell at receptionists thinking that it'll get me in to see the doctor.
