When the ex left, I swore I'd never get married again and I'd never ever let any man hurt me again. I thought they all were pond scum and I hated them for being men. I was sure I'd never trust anyone or let myself be vulnerable again. Sometimes someone comes along when you really don't expect it and takes you by surprise. I hope that happens for you and I hope that this time it's someone who will appreciate you for all the qualities that make you who you are.
