Sandy, I'm with you! I don't like movies like that and they're worse if they're based on "true stories". I used to watch them to see how the characters dealt with their situations, but I remember some months back watching one and during a beating scene, I started bawling and it made me think of the family violence I witnessed, but I was never a victim of, I have to be thankful for that. That's where the "baby" of the family came in handy, everyone started learning from their mistakes and how awful it was on me too to witness it.
