I'm sorry to see you feeling so down, especially when you were doing so well for a long time. I think this time of year is hard on a lot of people. I'm not sure how it effects you but it seems like winter with it's shorter days always has a negative effect on me. By the time I get home from work, it's almost dark. I need more sunshine.

I know what you mean about the weight. I lost a lot of weight in the past year. I'd still like to lose more but before I started losing, I felt so self-conscious and so awful about myself. I'm still not where I want to be, but better. Scott was so sweet though..he never made me feel bad about it.

I can also relate to you missing your mom and Caleb. I'm still adjusting to my move. I'm not really that far away, but sometimes it seems like it. Moving here was the best thing for my marriage and the only way we can have any kind of "normal" life but at the same time, this is the first time I've lived away from "home". I miss my family sometimes and on top of that, I have a new niece. She's so sweet. Since I never had a daughter, I told my sister-in-law she had to share Nicole with me. I'd love to see her more.

I hope you feel better soon. Even though you're down, I'm glad to hear from you...I've missed you :)

Love,
Sandy
