You are absolutely right, people who haven't gone through it don't understand. I am so sorry for your loss as well. Losing a pregancy is a hard thing to go through. You do grieve for what might have been, and anniversary dates come and go and you don't feel like you are ever going to get over it. Thank you for listening and understanding.

I'm so glad that Lorne gives you the space you need to grieve. He sounds like a wonderful man. That is true too that you wouldn't be the same person you are today if you hadn't gone through all that trauma. I wish for you a long, happy life with Lorne.

I have never dealt with loss well. I seem to take it as a personal attack or something. I've lost both my grandparents, aunts and uncles, and their deaths all left lasting scars on me. Even losses that didn't result in death...the loss of friends, jobs, etc have all thrown me for a loop. I've never been to a grief counselor, I have always depended on my own therapist to get through things. I know that loss is a big trigger for my bipolar as well...
Maybe a visit to a grief counselor would help.

I just wanted to reply to your post, and thank you for your insight. I'm glad you are back posting on the board, and I hope that you are feeling better real soon...

Love, Michelle
