Gordon...

Where are you...I mean what area of the country?

Maybe the sadness is just post-holiday sadness. Could be the "back to work blues". I know I always get them. Holidays, vacations and weekends always go by so much faster than the work week and I'm never ready to go back. I guess most people are like that, unless they have a dream job or something.

Divorce is tough. I'm not sure how long it's been since your divorce but it's got to be one of the most difficult things in life. In some ways I think it's worse than dealing with death. I mean, when a loved one dies, you are heartbroken, but you know they didn't reject you or leave you because they didn't love you. With divorce, you have the grief but also the hurt of knowing you're being rejected and it makes you question your worth as a person. At least it did with me.

I've been there.. It was awful but what they say about time is true. How much time is different for everyone and while you're dealing with it, it doesn't seem like you're ever going to get to a place where it's easier..but you do.

I hope things get better for you soon.

I'm glad to see you posting. HOpe you stick around.

Take care,
Sandy
