Subject: Making Progress

Today set up mailing address and checking account, a little better at finding my way around. Amazing how many times one can get lost in just a couple of days. It's like someone who loses their legs and has to learn to walk again.
Regarding relocation, just studying maps, learning where everything is, getting accounts set up, it's quite the learning experience.
Aside from lingering physical stuff from the hectic move and long trip, and some lingering affects of some anxiety attacks I've had, I think I'm doing ok for the moment.
I reside in a small town just fifteen minutes from Aiken.
It's quaint, not many numbers though, it takes some "feeling" around to find something. I am trying to get to the point where I can enjoy the peace and quiet of the country while on the other hand I'm getting a hefty education on fire ants and wasps. Scott just mentioned the possibility to me of the ants, needless to say, there is a find white line of ant powder sprayed neatly all around the trailer! lol. there is a humorous side to my obsessive compulsive disorder.
The only bad points are air conditioning breakdown, the trailer can get stifling without, but especially car breakdown paranoia, Aiken has 20,000 people, but it's SO spread out, the one thing I like is that's it's city like but with rural tendencies with a lot of greenery and forest type settings. It's very quaint, but like Kansas City traffic on the other and here a car is a must. When my car goes, I'll be screaming for sure. Lord help me.
Tomorrow it's the job market and appts. with the Aiken Tech college, Aiken Staffing Associates, and on Friday, the South Carolina Employment Security Commission. By Friday afternoon, I'll know where I stand and what I must do.
Well, this is pretty boring stuff here, so I'll close, just wanted to let you all know what's going on.
Still feel this was the best thing for me to do, it does seem like things are slowly starting to fall into place, dare I say.
Thanks for listening to my ramblings, now if I can just get over the spooky feel at night living in the country, I hear a noise and I about fall out of bed.
Peace,
Bill
