Ever since I made this decision to move:
1. I have been eating better and I feel making stronger attempts to take care of myself, if I'm wrecked, I'm not going to be at top form to make this transition
2. Through selling some belongings, I received more money than I believed I would get, I was able to for the first time in two long years, to finally break free of the paycheck loan agencies. I am now paycheck loan agency free. No bi-monthly service charges and being deadlocked into taking out loan after loan. Now I can concentrate fully on savings to move.
3. Tonight, I wrote Dad another letter and this time I didn't feel like using the car, I actually walked outside and the six blocks to the post office, I have not gone outside for a walk in months, I've been that reclusive outside of driving over to Jeni's once or twice a month. The exercise felt great.
4. As I stated, I had the abilities to help a co-workers daughter rebuild part of her home life (sent via e-mail to my relief receptionist a list of furnishings to print and give to Judy, my R.R. said she about fell on the floor after reading it, I don't feel any ego at all over this, just that wow, I can help someone in this respect and know it's part of the path in my transition to be able to do this).
5. Hot and heavy into the job market, usually I am in tears throwing mounds of crumped paper on the floor in failed attempts to do the resume/cover letter via typewriter. My average is 30 minutes per resume/cover letter with NO typos, my focus is steel.
6. With all of your support on top of this, I know
I'm doing the right thing.
7. For the first time in my life, I feel true direction and a sense of purpose. I can't put into words how that feels. I'm not for sure what God has in mind for me yet with all of the details, but I feel he's got me going somewhere for sure..
Thanks for listening,
Wishing you all peace,
Bill
