Hello Jesse,
I understand so much. I"m a cutter too. I haven't done it in a while. But it still comes to mind sometimes. Like right now. I'm going through so much B.S. that I feel like causing pain that is on the outside. I know that it's wrong to do that though. I think that I"m getting better. I also have a friend that picks at her face until it's raw. SHe's trying to stop as it really makes her feel like she's a freak. But she's not and I don't think that anybody in this situation is one. The only thing that I can offer is that it sometimes helps to do other things that are physical that won't hurt you. Like screaming into a pillow or beating the crap out of it. I know that it's not the same thing, but it uses up some of the energy that one would use to hurt themselves. If I get so worn out, I sometimes lose the urge to do anything. Sometimes I run too. Feel free to contact me if you just need to vent.
